Based on the recommendation of the Chief Information Officer, Herman Nell, and in consultation with the FBI Leadership Team and the Board of Fiskars Brands Inc., it was decided to restructure the Information Technology (IT) organization to more effectively meet the current and future needs of the organization.
The highlights of the changes include:
The new organization for Americas and International will report to Mike Grimm, formerly VP – Enterprise Applications, in his new role of Vice President IT, Americas and International. Mike and the IT organization will report up through Jerome Klein, CFO. The European IT organization will evolve under the direction of Elly Piccart, VP, Controller - Europe. An IT organization chart is attached.
The Business Analyst position that will reside in the major business units will assist in data extraction and business reporting as well as helping with the translation and prioritization of the business’s IT needs. The IT department and the businesses are committed to working towards a job definition for this role that supports the shared services model yet gives the businesses more flexibility in meeting its information needs.
Unfortunately, both Herman Nell and Rich Deschler will be leaving the business. We appreciate their contribution and their guidance over the years, and wish them well in new endeavors.
