Fiskars Brands' New School, Office and Craft Division President Takes on Dual Roles

Madison, WI - Chad Vincent has joined the Fiskars School, Office and Craft Division as its new president. Vincent began at Fiskars Brands, Inc. in August 2001 as President of the Gerber Legendary Blades Division in Portland, Oregon. The division showed significant growth under his leadership, and he implemented several award-winning branding strategies.

Developing SOC Division strategies while giving customers and consumers superior service, innovation and top quality products will be Vincent’s focus in his new position.

Vincent also recently accepted the role of Chief Brand Officer in which he will be responsible for corporate wide for the Fiskars brand.

Vincent has over 18 years of broad experience in general management, sales and marketing, as well as significant background in international market growth. Prior to joining Fiskars, he held leadership positions in HJ Heinz Corporation, Miller Brewing Company and Welch Foods, Inc.

Vincent and his wife, Wendy, have two daughters and two sons.

Fiskars was founded in 1649 and is the largest manufacturer of lightweight stainless steel scissors in the US. The parent company, now located in Helsinki, Finland, started on the banks of the Fiskars River in Fiskars, Finland. Internationally, Fiskars has manufacturing plants and/or sales offices in 20 countries.

The original orange-handled scissors design is in the permanent design collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York, as well as in the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

The SOC Division has expanded far beyond the original scissors and now makes an extensive line of ergonomically-designed specialty scissors, scrap booking supplies, embossing tools, paper trimmers, punches, stencils, protractors, compasses, and several more high-quality products.
