Fiskars Brands Appoints New President to its Home Leisure Category Also Names New VP & Controller

Madison, WI - Fiskars Brands, Inc., a leading global consumer products company, has announced that Steve Thomas has joined the company as the new president of Home Leisure, a product category that manufactures and markets home living accessories, including pottery, floor mats and canopies. In his new role, Thomas will be responsible for the sales, marketing and product management of all three product lines throughout the United States.

Prior to joining Fiskars Brands, Inc., Thomas was most recently at Barjan Products, L.L.C. in Rock Island, Illinois, as president and CEO. Before that, he held various general management positions with Newell Rubbermaid as president of Newell Window Fashions, both in the United States and Europe, Kirsch Company, and Anchor Hocking. Steve has an MBA from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, and a bachelor's degree in marketing from the University of Northern Iowa.

Shawn Liverseed also joins Home Leisure as vice president & controller. Liverseed will transfer from Fiskars Garden Tools group, where he has held various accounting and financial roles for more than ten years.
